- April’s Retail Sales fell 0.2% from March’s +1.7%. Retail Sales ex Autos rose 0.1% from March’s +1.3%.
- May’s NY Empire State Manufacturing Index rose to 17.8 from April’s 10.1.
- May’s Philadelphia Fed Manufacturing Index rose to 16.6 from April’s 8.5.
- April’s Industrial Production fell 0.5% from March’s +0.2%. Capacity Utilization fell to 77.9% from March’s 78.5%.
- May’s NAHB Housing Market Index rose to 66 from April’s 63.
- April’s Housing Starts rose 5.7% from March’s +1.7%. Building Permits rose 0.6% from March’s -0.2%.
- Initial Jobless Claims for the week ending May 10th fell by 16K to 212K. Continuing Jobless Claims for the week ending May 3rd fell by 28K to 1,660K.
