- August’s Markit Manufacturing PMI (prelim.) fell to 49.9, a contraction zone, from July’s 50.4. Services PMI (prelim.) fell to 50.9 from July’s 53.0 Composite PMI (prelim.) fell to 50.9 from July’s 52.6.
- July’s Existing Home Sales rose 2.5% from June’s -1.3%. New Home Sales tumbled 12.8% from June’s +20.9%.
- Initial Jobless Claims for the week ending August 16th fell by 11K to 209K. Continuing Jobless Claims for the week ending August 9th fell by 54K to 1,674K.
